Like a kid at Christmas

So I have been sick for the past few days and my friend Charlie did the absolute sweetest thing. He shows up at my door with 4 cans of soup, 2 vitamin waters, a movie that he loves and says makes him feel better when he's down. (Down Periscope, with Kelsey Grammer) and a whole memory stick full of acoustic songs that will last me months...and THEN to top it all off, this:



Flippin' Awesome!! It's even prettier in person. He has a Hayabusa, which is incredibly scary but exciting at the same time. If my mom knew her little girl has gone 100mph around a curve on the back of one of these, she might actually come and visit me once this year.

Tomorrow may bring the seafood festival, and definitely another wonderful weekend day. Sigh. Charlie is one of those friends who is simply a Godsend.

I'm sniffly and sneezy and sick, but I must be one of the happiest girls in the world.
