Somethin' in the Air

There is something in the air blowing around here in South FL! A wonderful, cool, excitement. I do literally mean the weather! It feels so energizing and invigorating outside! Makes me want to skip around everywhere and do yoga all day long.

I am currently in the process of writing a book with Dr. Cederquist. She has already written two other books, Helping your overweight Child and The Honest Diet for Busy Women. So the fact that she wanted to work with me on another book, The Menopause Metabolism, (a title which I am happy to say I came up with) caught me completely by surprise!

We've got an outline, and a topic that is quite rare and unresearched, namely menopause and weight gain. And the most amazing thing is...she is the most well-researched and experienced in this field! We're not going to just be babbling on about how it happens, we'll be providing real solutions to issues women have in weight management during peri-menopause and after menopause. She is one of the only doctors addressing this issue from a metabolic standpoint in order to treat women and help them lose weight.

I never dreamed I'd be here doing these amazing things, say even just 6 months ago! This is the most amazing opportunity, I couldn't have dreamed up a better one in a million years! I love the folks I work with, we all get along so very well, the money is great, I LOVE the weather, I enjoy this city, I live so close to work, and on weekends I have the chance to play and shop and do whatever I like! I must be the luckiest girl in the world. Pinch me, dude.

I bought my car from my parents last week. They gave me a humbling discount. Just bought auto insurance for it as well. If you are looking, go with Geico, they gave me a great rate with lots of bonuses and a low deductible, which is great considering I'm still under 25. That little lizard ain't lying.

Lesson learned... Don't ever go to see out-of-network doctors. Costly mistake.

I now have Windows XP, thanks to my dear Paul! Vista woes will plauge me no more. A side note, make sure to buy Dell, not HP, laptops.

My eyes are bright, my energy is high, my spirit is full, my smile is genuine, my heart is warm, my mind is quick and sharp, my inner peace is thriving, and I love the Lord Jesus with all my heart, soul, might, and strength. AMEN!!
