Busy Life

I had the busiest day at work, and if it's any indication of what things will be like during season, whoa. I'm in for a ride. Seems like I get torn between being on a time schedule and doing a good, quality job with the patients I'm seeing. The doctor gave me some positive feedback today, I told her what I action I had taken with a specific patient, and she called out as I was walking back to my office, "You're doin' it, Joy", and it was amazing how encouraging that was!

I'm such a lucky gal to have a job like this. And it doesn't hurt that the money is good and getting better! I'm taking my vacation, ahem, sorry, my paid vacation in a few weeks. It's good to be a workin' girl. I go home on lunch breaks now, to regroup and listen to Pat, Leonard, or Milt on CD. And now Dad's recording his statements of faith. It's amazing.

I'm thinking about ditching Vista and going back to XP. Life was better there. It's just a little prettier here.

Going camping this weekend, at Koreshan State Park! Bringing lots of squito pellant, cause it's right off the Estero River, aka skeeter breeder.

I love Honest Tea. And I've had chocolate cake two days in a row.

I'm gaining weight! (Big surprise) Up to 115 now, which is exciting, I haven't been here in many months--definitely not since graduation. I know I'm swimming upstream from the rest of the U.S.A., but if it's any consolation, I have found it just as hard to gain weight as some people have found it difficult to lose it. Weight is a double-sided coin, to be sure.

And the random thoughts must come to an end.

For the Lord, he is good.
