New Life in Naples

I am still adjusting, but I feel settled in more every day. I've got a small routine, and I'm looking forward to work everyday. I'm saving my money, trying to play it smart and stay out of debt. The Lord is with me, and as long as I'm walking in covenant with him, and lay my life before him, I'll be more than alright.

I'm glad to finally have internet at home, too! Currently reading Financial Peace Revisited, by Dave Ramsey. Sara recommended it to me, and it's been very helpful in addressing the tendency to spend, spend, spend, instead of save, save, save to be able to buy the things I want.

Still loving doing my yoga, still loving cooking, in fact I've got a great new Cilantro-Lime Chicken recipe that is muy muy fabulair! I'm doing some crocheting, one of the gals at work is pregnant, so she'll have a soft baby blanket from me. I LOVE not having stress from school! Work stays at work, I don't even really think about it after I leave, it's wonderful. This coming Friday is my first paycheck, so needless to say I'm pretty stoked.

I visited the First Baptist Church of Naples, and it was your typical religious institution for keeping folks deceived and in the dark. I just wanted to meet friends who were interested in pursuing the Lord. Maybe I still can. Churches today are a tragedy.

Tried to fix my bike tire, but the tube has leaks all over it, so I just need to get a new one. I don't have a mailbox key yet, apparently the US Government is slow to issue those. The nice lady at the office meets me down there whenever I want to check it though, and then opens it with her master key. This post has turned out to be a bunch of blurbs. Enjoy. Another good blurb...

The Lord is good. So good.

yes! i've missed your blog posts. you always seem happiest and most at peace when you're writing in your blog the most. :) I'm so glad that you've followed God's lead into Naples, and i'm thankful that God has blessed me that i'm able to come visit you.
