I just had some of the sweetest Florida organic blueberries. And yet I am asked to bear fruit, just as the blueberry bushes. Fruits of righteousness, which taste so sweet to Him. The only way for me to do that is to be in Him.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes [cleans] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. John 15

ironically, Ezekiel 15. :)
Don't you know the Bible argues, and contradicts itself, depending on time and situation and actions? That is why Word by the Spirit is so important. It is Jesus, who is the Word, telling me by the Holy Spirit, what is appropriate for me to hear in my specific time, place, and condition of heart. I am not "acting faithlessly" as those inhabitants of Jerusalem were, so the Lord's Word to me was exactly what I wrote, to bear much fruit.
Does that mean it's for everyone? Certainly not. I'm sorry I've posted just to be "ironically" contradicted. My question to you is this...What purpose was your comment intended to serve? To make me doubt? To contradict what I've written? To show that you know some comprehensive amount of scripture? Because you wanted to contribute to what the Lord has said to me? Please do not misuse God's Holy Word like that to me anymore.
