Litter Box Smell...vamoose!

Smelly pine litter air, vamoose! I finally found the cure for a smelly litter box! If you are like me and use the flushable pine natural cat litter, you can't avoid that pine/ammonia smell that fills whatever room the litter box is in. The cure? Lemongrass essential oil. Just a 5 or 6 drops on into a normal/large size litter box (with pine litter already in it) has completely eliminated the airborne 'stale pine' odor in my bathroom! I've tried baking soda, odor absorbing gels, changing the litter every week, washing the litter box with soap and water every week. I've tried giving my cat additional fiber (which helped some), I've tried spraying lime essential oils directly into the box, but the lime did not work nearly as well as the lemongrass. I walked into my bathroom today and this litter is three days old, but no litter smell is coming from it at all! Just a faint hint of lemongrass, nothing else! I will have to see how long it works, and post again soon! This is so exciting, it's been quite a search!
