Again

It's becoming a trend. University and school killings. Oh Lord help us. There was a comment on this BBC article that I would like to (if nothing else) present the other side of. His comment was simply

"How many more people are going to die before America does something about guns." -Australia

My response to that is simply, I don't personally have any guns, but my dad has lots of them. Rifles, handguns big and small, and a member of the NRA. My mom decided to purchase one as well this past year. Originally, Dad used the guns, cleaning them when guys came to pick up one of his five daughters to make sure that we came home just like we left the house. He also has those guns as a means of protection for his family. There are guns hanging over the front door at my home. We also live in southern Alabama, just outside a very large 'country-minded' city. I know lots of people who think we are a type of 'enemy' in regards to our lifestyles, religious mindset, beliefs about sexuality, intellect, gun possession, and even music...but please, hear me out.

America is falling apart because God is being removed, inch by inch. This country is in total spiritual shambles. People don't know how to raise their children, how to manage their money, how to love their spouses. Without God's protection (not the government's) no one is truly safe. We are on the brink of something, here in America. We are not going to be able to survive much longer with things going on the way they are, with total denial and removal of the God who created us. The result is the typical American that the rest of the world hates. In sum, gun removal isn't the answer. Stricter control, maybe. (But not if that meant I couldn't buy a gun one day to protect myself or my family) The answer is Jesus. He is the answer, always has been the answer, always will be the answer. He saves us from being sinners, and doing things just like what happened at the universities, as well as the thousands of other atrocities being committed across the world.

God is jealous, full of wrath, and ready to lay out justice upon the world. But he wants to pluck everyone he can from that fire first. Come, come unto Jesus. He's the only way. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. He's coming back, in full power and glory, ready to punish all evil. Get out while you can. Come to him, and be saved. Or don't, let your unbelief and carnal minds keep you right where you are, and just keep doing what you are doing, holding on to your fleshly desires, and your knowledge of the world and all in it. God holds all knowledge, and no one can stay his hand.
