Wheatgrass shot!

I passed Hardees, walked on by Einstein's Bagels, and up the steps to Zia, where I took a shot of wheatgrass, followed by a slice of orange. Lol, it hit me on the bus. Blood rushing into every capillary (lol of course not every one, you don't have enough blood for that to ever happen, but that's what it felt like), my eyes seemed to open wider, my muscles had some sort of relaxed energy to them, I wanted to get off the bus and run to the university center instead...man! It was amazing! I wanted to sing and laugh and spin and squeal with delight all at the same time! I wanted to shout praise toward the heavens! I wanted to hug the next person I passed by!

To me, this begs the question...was it the wheatgrass shot, full of energy B-vitamins and superantioxidants, or was it the Holy Spirit pouring joy and gladness in a rushing flood into my heart? Here is the conclusion I've arrived at. God made wheatgrass! lol. Simple as that! So instead of praising the wheatgrass, becoming obssessed and drinking it all the time, relying on it for my bursts of happiness, instead I will praise its author, and become obssesed with and rely on Him for bursts of happiness in all places, not just wheatgrass, but all the little moments and experiences that take your breath away.

I want to cry I am so happy and blessed by the God of the universe. I am so happy to be alive. I am so full of joy and gladness in my heart that I sometimes I fear a public explosion. I feel so good, so often! Any darkness I was in before has completely melted away and I am standing fully in the light. All praise and glory to the God who loves his children enough to let bad things happen so they can learn and be sanctified! Praise to the God who digs us out of the grave and plants us into the light!
