That's what bumpers are for

Someone hit me in the parking garage yesterday. He said his phone rang, but it was on the floorboard, so he was reaching down to get it, and clunk. He hit me. We were both going downhill, but I was stopped. After checking to make sure I was ok, he came over and looked at my car, and we could see where his tag holder in the front had left two little imprints. Some of the paint had chipped off of his car where the plate holder had been forced back into his bumper. But he wasn't worried about his car at all, he didn't even hardly look at it.

He was very honest, very apologetic, and ready to do whatever I wanted about the situation. So, I said, you know, I think that's what bumpers are for. Let's just walk. So we did. I'm not about to replace the bumper, and it doesn't need painting. It's funny, but looking back I was abnormally calm through the whole situation. I almost feel like an old hat at this wreck thing, I've been in so many of them. It's also interesting that I have yet to have one be my fault. I've never gotten pulled over either. Lol and yes I am aware that by saying that it will probably happen tomorrow or something. To contrast that boasting, I didn't pass my driver's test until the 3rd attempt.

This isn't my car, but it looks exactly the same. Except for two little lines in the back now.
